Help the Garden Grow!

The Root 66 Garden thrives because of the passion, talents, and dedication of our members and volunteers. Joining a committee is one of the best ways to get involved, build new skills, meet other members, and make a lasting impact on our community.

Whether you enjoy working with plants, caring for animals, organizing events, teaching others, or helping behind the scenes, there's a place for you. Committees meet as needed and welcome members of all experience levels. We believe everyone has something valuable to contribute.

Choose one or more committees that match your interests, and we'll connect you with the committee lead to help you get started.

Together, we're growing food, building community, and creating one of the largest community gardens of its kind in the country, one volunteer at a time.

Only current members and registered volunteers are invited to apply to join committees.  Become a FoodShare participant or volunteer.
