🌿 Become a Root 66 Urban Gardener

Growing your own food has never been easier—or more rewarding! When you join as an Urban Gardener at The Root 66 Garden, you’ll have your own garden plot where you can plant, nurture, and harvest fresh, healthy produce for you and your family.

Whether you’re an experienced grower or brand new to gardening, we’re here to help. You’ll have access to educational resources, friendly guidance, and a welcoming community of fellow gardeners.

🌱 Your Membership Includes:

🍎 Your own garden plot to grow fresh fruits and vegetables

🍇 Access to our FoodShare Project, allowing you to help nourish the community while you grow

🥦 Ongoing support, workshops, and community events

In return, each Urban Gardener gives back just two volunteer hours per month to help maintain and improve the shared garden spaces we all enjoy.

🌼 How to Reserve Your Plot:

1. Complete the Plot Agreement
Carefully read all rules, regulations, and agreements. By signing, you agree to help us keep the garden thriving for everyone.

2. Submit Your Community Contribution Donation
Make your contribution right on our website to confirm your membership.

If no plots are currently available, don’t worry—just submit your agreement to be added to our waiting list, and we’ll contact you as soon as a space opens up.

🌱 FoodShare Project

Just $15 a month or $150 a year and commit to 2 hours each month tending our dedicated FoodShare plots. Together, we plant, care for, and harvest seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Members harvest what they need for their own households, while the rest is shared with local families and food banks.
