At The Root 66 Garden, we believe that everyone deserves access to fresh, nutritious food—regardless of their circumstances. That’s why we created the FoodShare Project, a community-based initiative that shares the abundance of our garden with neighbors in
need.
Whether it’s a surplus of seasonal vegetables, herbs, eggs, or garden-grown fruits, we ensure nothing goes to waste and everything goes to good use. Through the FoodShare Project, we donate extra produce from our harvests to local families and food banks—and we invite others to join us in growing and giving.
A FoodShare Membership is just $15 a month (cancel anytime) and gives you access to pick up fresh, seasonal produce from The Root 66 Garden once a week—whatever is ripe and ready to harvest. Sometimes we have a lot, sometimes just a little, but there's always something growing and worth sharing. Your membership not only puts nutritious, garden-grown food on your own table, it also helps feed two local families in need each month. It’s a simple, powerful way to support your health, your community, and a more sustainable food system—all for the cost of one takeout meal.
