FoodShare

Nourishing Our Community, One Harvest at a Time

🌱 The FoodShare Project at The Root 66 Garden

At The Root 66 Garden, we believe that everyone deserves access to fresh, healthy, and homegrown food—regardless of their circumstances. That belief inspired the creation of The FoodShare Project, a community-powered program that connects people through growing, sharing, and giving.

The FoodShare Project is more than just a garden initiative—it’s a shared effort to build food security and community resilience right here in Rancho Cucamonga. For just $15 a month or $150 a year, participants commit to 2 hours each month helping to plant, tend, and care for the FoodShare plots. These special areas of the garden are dedicated to growing seasonal vegetables, herbs, and fruits that feed both participants and local families in need.

As a FoodShare member, you’ll not only learn about sustainable growing practices but also get to harvest what you need for your own table. The remaining bounty is shared with our community partners, food banks, and neighbors who could use a little extra help.

Every seed planted and every hour spent in the garden helps ensure that fresh food—and the joy of growing it—is something everyone can experience. Together, we’re cultivating a community where generosity takes root and no harvest goes to waste.

🌻 Join the FoodShare Project today and help us grow something good for everyone.
